“This new property belonging to the Bardet family is located south-east of the village of Saint-Laurent des Combes on sandy soil. The vast majority of the vines are Merlot with some additional Cabernet Franc. This vintage gave the wines a good tannic structure, balanced by substantial acidity. At this point, the fruit is the strongest impression; pure, intense and velvety on the palate. Overall, it is fleshy and the subtle vanilla of the finish reveals the sophisticated ageing it has undergone.”
Alain Chameyrat, 2012 Bettane & Desseauve Guide

“Lovely intense purple robe. Attractive wood on the nose with toasted and roasted hints. The fruit is still discrete. Signs of its ageing also appear on the palate. Likeable density, balance and length. A 2010 you have to wait for.”
2014 Gilbert et Gaillard Guide

“Bright ruby colour, this wine opens with lovely multiple aromatic layers. Rich body on the palate and incredible delicacy on the finish.”
Awarded 3 stars in the 2014 Un Vin Presque Parfait Guide.
