“1995 had high temperatures and a slight drought during the summer without any impact for the fruit, which became perfectly ripe. It was a big harvest, but overall quality in Bordeaux and more particularly in Saint-Emilion was in no way compromised. 1995 at the estate displays slightly dry tannins, but the wine is very aromatic, recalling especially very ripe stone fruit. It has reached its best. It would suit a stew or a meat dish with sauce, perhaps even a wild boar stew.
