Château Pontet Fumet 2011 – Magnum

Silver Medal at the 2014 Paris Agricultural Competition
Silver Medal at the 2014 Decanter Awards
Gold Medal of the Gilbert et Gaillard Guide

Lovely intense red robe. Clean fruity nose that is quite elegant with a spicy-woody hint in the background. Lovely palate aroma, softened tannins even if the finish is a little firmer. The fruit marries nicely with the wood and a pleasant liquorice flavour.

Tasted on 17th March 2014 – Gilbert et Gaillard Guide
