Château Val d’Or 2006 – Magnum

Category: .

Silver Medal at the 2009 Brussels World Competition
Silver Medal at the 2009 Paris Independent Winegrowers’ Competition

After an initial, often austere youth in the Bordeaux region, this vintage has begun to open up in more classical terms. Pontet-Fumet is fresh on the palate; the still noticeable tannins are softening, but clearly announce a definite ageing potential.
